Question Best 100% Whey ?

I wanted to get some feedback on what is the best whey protein drink for the money, price to grams of protein.
I have been takin' GNC 100% whey for a couple months but it only has 20grams of protein and I need more than that. I can only eat so much chicken, eggs and tuna.

any feedback ia appreciated.

Thankz in advance....

You will get several answers but I like Optimum Nutrition 100% whey. Excellent value, excellent protein and if you stay in the chocolate flavors, the taste is good.

I have been buying from All the Whey for an year now, and I am quite happy with it. It has around 25g protein/scoop..or 50g per serving.

The price is like 33USD for 5lbs, much cheaper than GNC, even when I have to pay import duties to get it into Singapore.

although protein shakes are good do not base your diet mostly on them. As for food you can add different flavoring to the chicken, fish etc. Whey that i think is the best is designer protein by next nutrition. Although is only 17g per scoop it is what you pay for. Just use two scoops with milk.

I absolutely love GNC's 100% whey...yea it only has 20 grams...per scoop, thats why i take two scoops and drink it with water. It comes in 80 serving jugs, so thats over a month of protein if you take 2 scoops a day..and for only 30 bucks or so. I'd say thats worth it. If you don't like water, drink it with milk and thats an additional 8 grams per 8 oz of milk.

I am partial to Optimum Nutrition also. It has 24grams per serving. Just remember that not all serving sizes are the same. One company might claim 50grams per serving but the serving size could be twice as large as one from a company claiming 25grams. Watch for that.

I agree I love the taste of the GNC 100% chocolate it's one of the better I have tasted. I usually take 2 100% shakes a day, one with breakfast and another after my worlout. I'm tryin to lose about 10lbs of fat and was looking to get the most protein without as many calories, because if I took two scoops that would be 260cal twice a day and I'm on a 1600cal diet and that doesn't leave much for the food.
Oh yeah and I take GNC PM protein before bed that has 40g of protein at a
190cal.
I eat chicken 2 times a day and tuna 1 time and egg whites for breakfast.
Thankz again I appreciated it .....

Bump, it's far more effective to judge whey protein on the percentage of protein per serving, type of whey protein used and price.

(# of g of protein per serv. X 4)/total # of calories per serv = %protein per serv.

For example Optimum Nutrition is 80% protein (24X4=96 96/120=0.8 or 80) per serving and is composed mostly of isolate (good) and concentrate (ok) with some peptides (best). Price per lb is approx $5

AST VP2 is 100% whey peptides (the best and most expensive kind) and is 91% protein/serving. Price per lb is approx $11.

NOW whey protein isolate is 100% isolate and 95% protein/serving. Price per lb is approx $7

GNC 100% whey is 66% protein/serv. and composed of mostly concentrate and isolate with some peptides. Price per pound is approx. $4 (Gold Card and discount price)

I've never heard of AST VP2. Where do you get that protein at?
