Reductil / Meridia

Have any of you tried or been prescribed Reductil (also known as Meridia in the US I think)?
What kind of results did you have and how long did it take to kick in?

I hear that it takes a good couple of weeks before it actually starts to do its work.

Just been prescribed it and probably been on it about 5 days and I can't tell that there's any difference. i.e. I still want to eat the whole house and I thought it was meant to stop you felling hungry.

Any other members who have anything to share on this I sure would appreciate it. Otherwise I'll just tell you how I get on over the coming weeks/months.
