Default I put on 20lbs of muscle in 3 months.

I put on 20lbs of muscle in 3 months. I am thinking this is a high rate of growth.
What do you think?
I was at 16% at end of that 3months, started at 20%.
Now a month later I am at 14%. Hoping to get to 10% in next 3 weeks or so...
I am 5'5", 187lbs; and don't want to get under 180lbs

Yeah I have plateaued. I am stuck at 14% and I am about 5 lbs lighter on average.
I have 2 different trainers @ 2 different locations taking my body composition about once a month.
It isn't BS.
No gear.
I am 33 years old.

I've been lifting for 5 years, however, the last 6 months before the heavy lifting, I did mostly cardio machines, swimming, with circuit training, and dieted pretty hard with mostly veggies, to get my lbs down to 160.
Then in June I started lifting heavy 5 days per week and changed my diet so it entailed plenty of lean steak and chicken, I started to eat protein closer to bedtime, and ate as soon as I woke up.

I saw some former co-workers at a poker game who I had not seen since April. They didn't recognize me at first.

I bet if I let loose for a week and ate I'd go from 196 right now to 220 or so...

You should try this after your show to see how long it'll take you to get back up to like 220! That would be interesting.

I wasn't talking about fat gain, talking about muscle gain.
But I've put on 15 lbs in 2 weeks of total weight, mostly fat, just by eating like crazy.
I've also lost 7 lbs in a single day with 2 hours cardio & nothing but veggies to eat. It was mostly dehydration-water lost.

Sorry for skepticism but I have been lifting on and off, serious and not so serious, for 15 years...to gain 20lbs of muscle in 3 months is quite the feat...if it is true I would like to know your secret. I have managed to go from 190lbs at 20 to 270 at 37...I know a lot of that is not muscle, but you figure 50lbs of muscle...over a 17 year period....2lbs a year and i feel lucky.

Haters?

They are educated lifters, spreading the truth to you.
Nobody is saying you are a liar, but it is clear that you are confused.

To gain 20 lbs of pure lean muscle in only 3 months is damn near IMPOSSIBLE, even for the most chemically assisted motherfvckrs in the business....

I am sure you gained 20 lbs in 3 months, but it was surely not all muscle, not even close.
And the fact that you think otherwise is clearly showing your level of inexperience in this game.
Even if I gave you tons of credit I'd say it was perhaps a ratio of 60/40 of muscle v.s. fat at the most, so thats 12 lbs of muscle with 8 lbs of fat.

And I'd only agree to that if you shared with us your dosages that you stick in your as$, because without the chemicals even this is not possible.

60/40 ~ Muscle/fat

Or

100/0 ~ Muscle/fat
