take this number(bf) and put it into the equation below


495 divided by bf minus 450

this will give you an idea where your body fat is at.

skinfold test gives you an error rate of 3.5%

Just about everything is not accurate.

At minimum there is a (I think) 2% swing either way unless you are using $10K plus machines.

Then again, my old boss used to say it correctly: "The only way to TRULY know your body fat is to die, and then get cut up into little pieces. Until then, it's just a guess at best"

But then again people do love their numbers to quantify everything.
