You need to build up your hands and over time they'll be less delicate.

My hands never looked like that and my bar is mad-rusted too. My skin folds over which is a real pain at times but you deal with it eventually and your skin gets tougher.
Remember when you were a kid and tried to twist off the beer caps to get into the beer? As you get older and use your hands more, they get tougher, and now don't those beer caps just seem to glide right off? At least I hope so, maybe not for the hardcore glove-users. And my grip strength sucks, imagine how bad it would be if I relied on gloves. |

is that a pic of your hands danny? daayum. thats pretty bad. the only ones that hit my grip hard like that are deads, pull downs, and pull ups... and maybe bent over rows.
