Default I stopped smoking

My ex girlfriend got married last May 5 and everything between us were done.. I was badly hurt... I promised a total changed so then, from that day...

1. I stopped smoking (smoking since 2001)
2. I go to gym for 3 times a week (never done before)

Do you think this is a good idea?... it's been hard to quit smoking during the firt 5 days but it's getting better now.. I just drink plenty of water when I want to smoke...its working..

congrats on the no smoking! I drink plenty of water when I feel like doing anything..so it'd probably be a good thing for me to stay away from ciggs.

congrats on the quitting m8. I did it 2 years ago after 27 years of 30 cigs a day if i can quit anyone can..... keep it up and hit the gym .seeing your body change (and it will) is the biggest reason why i stayed off the smokes. it gets a hell of a lot easier after the first 2 weeks believe me, all the nicotine is out of your bodt after 48 hrs and the cravings will go after 2 weeks. all you will get is the occasional twinge for a cig but by then you can ignore it. good luck to anyone thinking of quitting.its not as hard as you think, but needs you to want it .
