Default Metabolism

Hey, i'm new to this forum and to bodybuilding but i'm good at taking advice. My main problem right now is that I can't seem to gain weight at all. It sounds like a dream, but it isn't for me. How can I calculate my metabolism rate and what would be some good foods for me to start bulking up. I am 22, 5'11" and I weigh 150lbs. Thanks!

Default Wieght gain

A lot of people have trouble putting on mass, especially if your a hard gainer. It could either be your workout program or your diet. Your probably just not eating enough, roughly, since all I know is your weight, you probably burn around 2700 calories a day. Assuming you are moderately active and on a good training program. To gain weight you should probably eating around 3000 calories a day. Anymore and you'll probably put on fat to. I usually to try to eat clean most of the time, not a lot possessed carbs and junk like that. You should also get enough protein, at least 150 grams per day, but 200 would be better. You should also post your training schedule in the forum to make sure its not that. Because even if you eat enough, if your not doing the right things in the gym you wont grow either.
