I looked it up too and according to this article Body water - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia , it can be anywhere from 45-70% based on your bodyfat levels. the more lean muscle you have, the more water you carry.

I was just surprised to see that despite the long-time advice, there hasn't been a single concrete research project on the topic.

what I find the most difficult part of drinking at least 4 liters a day is finding bathrooms.

Not a problem at home but if I need to go out, its a pain

and the worst is when I go on a long bike ride, I purposely don't drink a lot because the bathrooms are few and far between...makes it tricky for sure
