I have a buddy who is 6' and is about 170lbs and is looking to put on muscle, and gain weight. I need him to gain weight as he's my leadoff hitter on my softball team and we're tired of seeing the right fielders, play in....LOL
Anyhow, I told him to buy a Weight Gainer but anyone have any good advice on what and how often he should eat during the day? I told him to lift heavy, 5-8 reps - 3sets. Thoughts? Thanks! |

He should eat at least five times a day, at least two hours apart. Probably around 3300 calories a day. With about 200 grams of protein or more. The weight gainer should have protein in it to. You can also tell him to get some whey protein and take it once a day, but not at the same time as the weight gainer. Your body can't process all that protein at one time.
