I don't think liver cleanse is necessary. Not sure about the liver but the lining in the stomach gets replaced every couple of days to protect it from the stomach acid.. It's probably the same for the liver. The body cleanses itself.
Good news for you, gallbladder is something people can live without. It shouldn't affect your diet which you probably already knew. It's not the gallbladder your problem.. You see, the more you get older, the more your body wants to keep your body fat. Diet and cardio is your solution. You can try MSFP 2.0 for cardio. It's better than HIIT; more EPOC produced. Spares more lean mass also. For diet, you can try Carb Cycling by Twin Peak It's pretty easy and you don't have to be really strict. Some may have other version and it's basically the same... Same concept; same s***. If you're already lean and want to get rid of your stubborn fat.. you can try Ultimate Diet 2.0 by lyle mcdonald.. Some people also like the Cut Diet by scivation (it's free). Just google it.. I don't agree with some of the things but many people have success doing it.

Thanks for the feedback. I guess it can be difficult to admit that age is catching up with me and that my body does not react to training the way it used to. It was so easy to lean up in my 20's, now I keep a strict diet and do everything "right" and struggle to keep lean. I appreciate the pointers. I was reading about the velocity diet and had some discussion about it on this forum. A little too extreme for me I think.
