You can take as much as you want really. Just don't neglect your diet and natural and real foods though.
Taking it with milk anytime except after work-out is okay. Milk will slow the absorbing of the protein cause it has Casien. I take 1.5 scoops with 1/2 cup water.

I do the same, I put milkshake mix (like nesquik) in mine. If you don't it will taste like unflavoured whey with milk, which isn't very nice. I don't measure any of it. Unfortunately its not sugar free, but I'm sure you could find something healthier. You don't need them 3 times a day though if your diet is decent. It's not magic, it's just food.
Bulk is the way to go, I get 5kg for £20 as opposed to 900grams for £20, and they all taste ****e. |

My diet is mainly fairly healthy foods
I will start the day of with a cereal like crunchy nut cornflakes or the new sustain which has added protein First snack at work will be yogurt with a grain bar and a light chocolate bar like a kit kat or crunchy Lunch will be a banana , and strawberries with another grain bar but different make / flavour next snack would be just fruit Dinner can be anything from a chicken and paster or rice to red meats but in general nothing to bad . only once a week i would have oven chips I drink a lot water throughout the day and will drink a further pint or orange or pineapple juice a day I do eat peanuts when with have them and will have a bit more chocolate on either sat or sunday apart from that thats really it I train 4 days a week with weights and 1 day in full contact kick boxing , used to play squash once a week with the wife but shes pregnant so thats gone out the window So is there any advice in anything else i should eat ? i`m not trying to get large , just to get good size muscles so i just look good So its more slim and cut i guess |

Thanks i will see what i can do about lunch
I will take the whey protein twice a day i think morning with milk and one mid afternoon with water on training nights and milk on none training nights I`m trying to avoid to take to much and then my size becomes reliant on any additives i take if you understand what i mean |

On training nights, take your protein with juice (not a citrus) or water right after you workout and if you want, in the morning (milk is good.)
Couldn't agree more about the diet. Good thing though is there's alot of options for you. lol

Get rid of the candy bars and replace them with a couple of cans of tuna. Maybe try having a couple of plain eggs on toast a couple of mornings per week too. That'd be good for you. |

Yes, protein powder with water after workout. Your body needs it badly right after workout, so give it to it quickly by using water for fast digestion.
All other times, protein powder with milk for slower and longer lasting absorption to keep the metabolism burning. Especially before bed. Throw in some cottage cheese, very high in casein before bed too. |
