Default General Question

Guys,

I haven't experienced this yet but I'm just wondering....

I'm 2 months into a 6month Maxt-Ot program...i've experienced great gains and really picking up some strength.

At what point should I get off the MAX-OT program and switch to a different style program?? Should it be when I hit a wall?? Or when I hit a plateau that I can't get off of??

When do you guys switch your programs? Other than MAX-OT what are some good size and strength programs?

Why are you even considering the change if you are making great gains OR are you asking this for future reference??

I dont make changes myself until I see that my progress has slowed down significantly or that I have hit the proverbial wall, but even then, I only adjust the change after I have evaluated if the stall is due to improper diet, sleep, recovery, etc..etc..

As always, the statement, "If it isnt broke, then dont fix it", really does apply.

I only change things when I stop progressing. Also, I see too many people switch the entire program because they have hit a plateau. A little too drastic - would rather just figure out what is lacking and fix the weakness.

EDIT - Guess I should also say, I switch programs when I get bored/unmotivated with the current routine.

Also you don't have to drop Max-ot completely. It's flexible - just change up some routines and exercises and you're set. Just keep the principle of it.

Good luck
