PowerHouse Gym

Have any of you ever trained at a PowerHouse gym (chain).

I found one that I could use while I am on vacation and its only $5 a day. I thought that was super cheap. I don't want to miss any time off of strength training. I am packing my blades for my cardio on the miami strip!

Thats cheap. Golds usually gets $20 for a day pass.

The gym I go to used to be Golds, so I could've gotten a freebie pass if it hadn't changed. I think $5 is super cheap. I think my gym charges like $12. Figure I could go train in the mornings before I get off to enjoy the beach. I will be gone for a bit, so didn't want to feel like a slacker.

Powerhouse Gym is a pretty good gym, at least the one by me is.
Alot of pro's go in there and actors and stuff..

I should be excited about going on vacation, I more excited that I found a gym to train at.

Seriously, I workout at Powerhouse gym and it's very nice.

Thanks, for the scoop. I liked the name and hope the equipment is decent, lol. There was also a Gold's I found, but about 5 miles further, so I am gonna go with PH!

Powerhouse Gym is a crock.
I had a membership when I lived in Augusta GA. When I moved to Savannah GA, there was none around and I tried to close out my membership. They wanted several hundred dollars! What a rip. It was gonna be cheaper to pay the monthly dues, even though I was over 3 hours away. Shortly after moving, I closed the checking account associated with the membership and forgot about it. TWO and a 1/2 YEARS LATER, I got a call from a collection agency saying that I owed thousands of dollars for unpaid dues. They kept renewing my membership, even though I wasn't paying and wasn't around. I told them to send me all the paperwork because I was taking it to a lawyer and that we could go to court over this. I'm still waiting a year later. Now I live in Seattle tho...

Anyhow, the moral is, Powerhouse are thieves and unethical.

I got a membership to Mieko's. It is month to month and the dues are $18 a month!

$18 a month is cheap... My gym membership is $45 a month, lol. And I didn't think that is too bad. We have another gym that is much bigger and the equipment is brandy new, but too far for me to get to every day. But I do plan on training there from now on 1x a week. My gym is getting new equipment soon.

I liked the Powerhouse gym when I was there in the summer...

what brandy new gym? lol - I have been at my gym for a long time. I used the powerhouse gym last summer when I was down in Florida on vacation. Oh you mean the sister gym we got.. they have tons of great stuff.. I love it there. I actually love the other dbs.. but yes my gyms has rubber everything lol. Awesome back workout last night, we tore it up and my chest is still a bangin from Wednesday... Its sore as a motha.
