I'm in too, btw. How about have pictures due on June 15? Maybe a few days leeway for people who can't get a camera right away but contest will start on June 18 and run through to say mid September? I know the end of August and the start of September are busy for a lot of us in school so that way we're not scrambling to get pics right at the deadline.

Also the contest should be more of a body transformation than a bulker.... meaning we are looking for lbm gains mostly, if you put on some fat thats fine but it should be obvious that there was a gain of muscle mass as well.

Also, mods, can we get this thread stickied... and maybe change the title to something along the lines if "Official Summer Bulker II Thread". Thanks.

Wow, this is only the 2nd summer bulker? I feel honored..

I agree on it being more of a transformation contest. I don't want to get fat.. or fatter..

What types of pictures do we need?

that sounds good. and you need the newspaper with you too to show the date is legit. should be fun this time. are the mods gonna be the judges?

We can either have the a select few members be judges or let everybody vote in a poll like we did last year. I was thinking have the members vote... it gets everyone more involved.

And yep, either a newspaper or a sign with your name and the date.

Can people actually do the same pose before and after? As in same place, same lightning, and not "I'm at my friend's place". It just makes things easier and more structure.Hrrpi gonna take the money. I say, we divide this into teams, and each dude get a coach, like hrpii or musclentx

Not a bad idea but it would require each coach to sacrifice a lot of time and there are only a few on this board qualified (I don't necessarily mean PT qualifications but knowledge and experience) to do it.

lol. yea foreal. no quick cycles during this contest. but i like the idea of the teams...even if we dont have coaches just split up the people. have a "captain" of each team and do a draft and we will see what team makes the most progress at the end. as in look at each person at the end and see how much they have improved on a 1-10 scale and the team with the most points wins...how bout that??

Hmm... kinda like the biggest loser tv show... except gaining lbm instead of getting skinny. I like the idea but i don't know how voting would work. We'd have to pick judges because it would be way too complicated to do it that way with a poll. Also we should pick a individual winner as well if we do it with teams.

Either way is fine with me.

And by natty I mean no current cycles, if you've done some in the past thats fine.

we could get some neutral judges like boyd musclesntx because i dont think he is doin this, hrpii if he's not doin it, traps, BG=LD,...3 or 4 judges if they are up for it and average the numbers they give and add up a total for each team and the team with the most wins and the single person with the most wins it all.

Numbers don't mean much on the internet. I think we should just go by look and have individual win, the team is just there to push and motivate.

guys can i get in on this as well it fits perfectly, have just started training again after a few years out and am heading to Ibiza for a week of clubbing on the 2nd september.

I dont care about being on teams or anything, it is just better motivation when other people are in the same boat.

I have been running and off the weights for 3 years so the befores will give you a larf, I just hope muscle memory kicks in
