Default Measurements - out of proportion?

OK - so now that I took the step of a couple of pics posted - I went ahead and did some measurements. Let me know what you think is out of proportion as I really have no idea other than obviously slimming down my waistline.

Chest - relaxed - (across the nips) - 51"
Waist (across the belly button) - 39.5"
Thigh - flexed - 27"
Calf - flexed - 17.5"
Bicep - flexed - 17.5"
Forearm - flexed - 14"
Neck - 18"

Again - 6'1" - 240lbs.

Inputs welcome. Thanks.

Well your calves and upperarms are the same size so thats a great start, your chest is very big and must overpower the rest of your body, lets see what the Bodybuilders think of your stats.

Yep - we probably have almost the same build - though I'd rather have your waist and neck. I think I need more trap work and bigger biceps. I don't work Bi's alot, because they get alot of attention in other movements, and I hit tri's pretty hard. I usually only do 1 or 2 biceps exercises - I may add another or two to the routine.

I think part of my large chest measurement is my back thickness - I LOVE working back/lats.....

And I'd trade for your calves

My biceps arent that great either, my arms seem to be like 75% triceps.

No. Your actual waist size is usually 2-3 inches bigger than your jeans size. I wasnt real happy the first time i discovered that.

we are pretty similar except for the waist, haha, im a fatty, and it all gathers right there at my lower stomach.

chest - 49.5
waist - 41
thigh - 28
calf - 17.75
arm - 16.5
forearm - 13.5
neck - 18.25

6'0 - 245 lbs

so i guess nothing seems to be out of proportion.

Dam, thanks for letting me in on the dirtly little secret

Well I measured my abdomen a few weeks back and it was 42 inches, so I'd say my waist is maybe 40 or 41. I'm going to go measure it now and come back

Sorry Renegade

I wear a 32-34 pant and measure 37-38 around my belly button depends on the pant cut and who makes it. Even when I was in a completely bad shape(skinnyfat) and my 32 pants fell off, I probably had a 36" around belly button, stupid belly fat

Yep - my Levi's are comfortable w/36 waist - tight w/34.

Another 10-15 lbs down and 34 will be fine though.

Thanks for all the inputs - I guess I'll just keep focusing on improvements in the Traps, Biceps, Quads while losing bodyfat.

When I start biking 20-40 miles three times a week, and swimming laps in April, the bodyfat will melt, I'll just have to try to balance my diet and lift enough to not lose too much muscle.

I'd like to be at 225 or under by my June 5th triathlon.....
