I am having a problem with my left shoulder. I injured it about 6 years ago, and it is still giving me problems. I went to doc and he told me there was nothing he could do for me, and surgery probably wouldnt help it. I was also told to try to build it up, but here is the problem, my right shoulder is about twice as strong. When doing dumbell military press I can barely get 50 lbs with my left and can easily do 80 to 90 lbs with right. My question is, do I continue to do db military press but at a weight my left shoulder can handle, or do I do another exercise until it is closer to the same strength.
If I do a seperate exercise, what would a good one be. I apreciate the advice. GMM |

I just saw my regular doctor, and he said it might be worth going to a specialist, but at this point there was nothing anyone can do. I talked with a specialist and he told me to try to strengthen it up and come back later, but the problem with that is how far behind it is.
I guess I will just drop all of the weights down on my shoulders and focus on perfect form until I can get it caught up. GMM |

A specialist is definitely in order here...Physical therapy could really help as well. Until then you may want to look into Cissus RX...It works wonders with joint injuries and could help you until you can get in to see the specialist.
