Default Shoulder Problem Need Help

about 1 month ago i hurt my shoulder i dont know if it was a strain or what it was it just hurt after i did my shoulder workout a month ago. I didnt go to a doctor i just let it heal for 2 weeks. Then when those 2 weeks passed i did my workout again but not shoulder workout i did my chest workout and the pain came back again. So i stopped again for another 2 weeks and last week i started working out again but this time my back workout and after my back workout i started getting that pain its like a sharp stretching pain, hard to explain. So i dont really know what the problem is because i followed everyones advice ive let it rest for 1 whole month and i havnt done any exercise i feel weak as fu*k . I have to look into a sports doctor, but does anyone have any advice or if i should use very light weights for now or what?

Also this whole time ive been resting, i have put on icy blue stuff or whatever its called for the shoulder pain, its supposely for strains, sprains, fractures, or anything severe. But i guess it doesnt work for what i have.

I think I sympathise with ya. I've been experiencing piercing pain in my right shoulder for the past couple months, though I only get this pain every couple of weeks or so. Not very often at all, but it's darn painful when it manifests. Woke up last night in absolute agony, cluthing my shoulder.
Sports doctor is your best bet - same for me too I reckon
Do you do upright rows? I've heard these are terrible for your shoulders. I think these were the main cause of my shoulder problems.
