Default Not getting sore

I usedto get mad soreness after a workout when i first started, sometimes so sore/tired to the extent that i could barely take a shower and scrub myself down after a work out,

but now, even when i max out, i dont feel sore at all, is it simply because you naturally getless sore? or because of my workout routine? i normally do 3-4 sets, 10 reps and 3 different kinds of work out per muscle group, 1 muscle group per day,

pre workout 5 grams of glut, post workout 48grams of ON whey (2 servings which has another 8 gramsof glut in it i believe)

It is only because your training level has increased. Not being sore isn't a bad thing. If you want to get sore then try some preexhaust sets before you do your regular lifts....I also like to throw some super heavy sets in sometimes...like 4 reps with extra heavy weights...

No matter what you do, it's almost impossible to be sore like in the good old newbie days.. The longer you lift, the more you body adapts to the torture.. the less pain it feels, and the quicker it learns to recover.

if you take some time off, you'll hurt more when you go back..

if you do some perticularly nasty shiet, like a "holy shiet" squat that leave you thinking you may die as you squeeze for bloody hell only to watch the bar rise 1". you may feel a bit sorer then normal..

but no, the one week cripple thing is a newbie experience in general.

if you wanna be sore, do 20 rep full squats to failure 5 x in 1 workout - just dont plan on going anywhere the next day..or finishing the workout

it generally takes more to stimulate your muscles as time goes on - your body is used to doing what your doing, do something different

I know what you mean. If i don't feel the soreness it kinda freaks me out a little bit. I always wonder if i pushed it hard enough...

*sigh* I miss those days now I don't feel anything and someone should seriously consider adding a sticky about soreness or something because this question is frequently asked.
