Hey alow, good question. Fruits are generally high in sugar, but are natural sugars whic have less impact on blood sugar. That said, carbs are carbs, and it's still sugar. I wouldn't entirely remove fruit from your diet, as tasting the sweetness of a grape can really help control your temptation to binge.
So to answer that simply: Fruit is good for you but if your cutting, keep it at a minimum. Brown rice & Whole Grain bread are terrific for long-term weight loss! BUT, relate back to the first paragraph. Carbs are carbs, and the more you take in, the more calories you have to burn to cut. But my opinion on this matter if you reasonably cut back on your caloric in-take, and reasonably cut down on carbs and eat the RIGHT carbs (such as Brown-rice or whole grain bread) your going to lose fat. Simple Answer: These foods are excellent, but if your cutting you may want to cut back on them just a little, along with your overall caloric in take. Extra advice: More important than cutting back on carbs and bad fats is getting enough protein! The digestion of Protein from foods demands a lot of work from your body, and thus boosts it's metabolism. Not to mention it'll maintain the muscle you have which will also aid in your fat loss. Overall Simple Answer: Cut a minor amount of calories, cut out the bad carbs and bad fats, eat lots of protein and drink lots of water! Good luck! |

I never pass up a good looking apple or orange (or whatever fruit)... I dont like sweet stuff at all, cake, pie, chocolate, candy, whatever... (call me a weirdo) but the benefits of the fruit overrule any of the other stuff... my overall health is more important than my physique.. granted, im no bodybuilder... but its up to you... eating an apple wont turn you into rosie o'donnell.
