Why is it everytime someone's progress stops they ignore the diet advice and switch the routine? what makes them think changing 3 sets to 4 or replacing one workout with another is going to all of a suddent produce a gain of 10lbs without eating enough calories to support the gain?
Now, if the argument was that they are gaining fat not muscle, then sure. Maybe the workout is not correct or they are eating too much. But if the weight is maintained, then no workout on earth is going to cause a weight gain because the body will not convert air into muscle. It needs food.
