-Over the past 4 months I've gained about 11 pounds of muscle and feel a lot bigger and stronger. I've done this with very minimum gain in body fat, but would like to cut fat sometime soon to sculpt my body and display the hard work that's hiding underneath. That said, I am not quite as big as I want to be, particularly in two areas: My legs, and my left arm which I've been trying to focus on to allow it to catch up to my right, with only minor results. Also, every time I lift, and watch myself in the mirror, my arms look more cut. I can now see the outlines of muscles that I couldn't see before. Is this is a hint that I'm making good progress and shouldn't change my routine? Or should I maybe do cardio on my off days?
Your advice is greatly appreciated. |

nah, forget the cardio, if you aint gained much body fat then theres no need - maybe do a cv warm up of 4-5 mins each weight session if your worried about it, but dont add cardio in
bulk up to the size you want to be, or maybe a few pound more, then cut down what you can do for the left arm, is simple dont train your right arm, and continue to train your left - when it gets to 1/4 inch over what your right was, then start training your right again my legs have always been good to grow, but something ive used a few times at sticking points is super-set of leg extensions and leg curls - sound like there bad for mass being isolation exercises, but when put together they can get you growing again - not something to use all the same, but good for a change |
