Default Muscle gain - outcome

I've been training for a while now and only recently have been watching what I eat, eating 6 meals a day all consisting of protein and cutting out carbs after lunch. I'm training diff. body parts every day and doing 3 exercises per body part of 3 set x 8 reps. As I'm a girl and DON'T want big legs, will they get bigger as I put on muscle? I am doing 4 days of cardio aswell to burn fat - being interval training - high intensity - 20 - 40 mins. I would appreciate any advice please.

Putting on more muscle is always a good idea. It will take alot to make your legs "big" so don't worry about that right now. Adding muscle will help with fat loss as it will raise your metabolic rate. Also, muscle will give your legs, and body for that matter, better shape/ contour which is always a good thing....don't be scared of muscle it is a GOOD thing!

Don't worry they won't get bigger. Even if they did, if you stop training them they will shrink within 3 weeks or so.

Red face Muscle Gain

Ok so this is the end of my 4th week and although I've lost body fat I've gained muscle and don't like it! Cause my work pants and shirts are getting tight for me and I know it's the muscle issue! So I'm starting a new thing where I'm focusing on light weights, high reps, and loads of cardio until I get my body fat down and then I will embark on a heavy weight program as I love lifting more so than doing boring cardio!!!
Thanks for all your advice. I do gain muscle pretty quickly - but I'm not complaining!!!

Congrats on the gains. However, I am going to move this post to the bodybuilding general chat though instead of here.

your not really gonna put on size doing 4 days of cardio, especially high intensity, so i wouldnt worry - dont know whats wrong with big legs tho, serena williams for example - fine

honestly I'm not sure I just came accross it on a web site but I have seen many (well the majority) of women body builders that look pretty close but yet have psychologicaly morphed themselves into thinking they look good But hey there's got to be good comic relief in all sports right? I think of ones like the one above as walking bloopers for ESPN they always make the highlight reel!
