Steroid Testing & Marine Corps

I want to go to OSC this summer to become a marine officer. I just found out that i have to sign up by the end of october and i just got off a cycle of cyp. I know it takes 3 months to get out of my system. I wanted to know if anyone knows if they test for steroids before you actually go to OSC. If so, at what point will they do it? will they do it right before i go or soon after i sign up? is ther ne ways around it or lagit body cleansers to use?? thanks

You will piss for them and get poked for blood at your physical. I do not know how thorough their testing is though or what they look for.

i researched it for a minute this morning and found conflicting statements....however i did find a post from someone who oversaw military drug tests (says he did anyways) and he stated that they DO test for AAS.........who knows

Alright man, here is the freaking deal. They dont test. You will get piss tested and have blood drawn. That is a check for mainstream recreational drugs. When you goto Meps make sure you are freaking hydrated. By this I mean make sure your piss is clear. I mean freaking clear. In OCS you will get very familiar with chugging water when the hats tell you to. I guareentee you will be trembling at times. You WILL do as they say, when they say, and exactly as they say. So you might as well get used to pumping the water now. Never give them the first piss of the day, and when you do give them a sample, again make sure it is freaking clear. They are goning to play LOTS of mind games with you. Whatever you have told them, before you left. That is ALL they know. Do NOT cave in. If they found something you would have never even left to OCS. So once you are in Quantico, dont be a pussy and cry and spill your guts. Share this info with no one, and while in the Core, I recommend you dont talk about juicing at all. Take this for what its worth.

MEPS will test for everything. Once you get to the fleet after OCS and all that bull**** your unit wont test for anything other than your mainstream drugs. Marine corps does not have the money to test for steroids except certain circumstances. It costs them 2 grand just to do that.. And make sure your an Infantry officer, if not then i hope ya die bro.
