waynaferd is just really nice
Default Any favored routines while on "juice"?

Just curious what type of split would be best to get the most out of a cycle...I'm thinkin a 3-day with deads, squats, and bench just so everything gets hit twice a week, then work on isolations after to deal with any weak spots.....

Any opinions on this?

Thanks for any input!!!

I'm no expert but I'd think more along the lines of a 4-5 day split.

Your body is recuperating faster due to the gear so you can push it that much further - that's what gear's all about ..... isn't it?

4 or 5 day splits would be alright with mostly isolation exercises but I think you got the right idea with the 3 day squats deads and bench, cant go wrong with the 3 biggest massbuilders at your base. You can do some isolation arm exercises if you need to on an off day.

Heavy weights. Little rest between sets. Lots of food.

nope. It still takes food, it still takes rest/recovery. Instead of you recovering in 48-60 hours, you are recovering in 40-55 hours, depending on many many variables.

Yes, you do need lots of food, rest, however, steroids will help you recover quicker and be less strict on your diet. However, you should always strive for a good diet and routine regardless of whether you are using or not.

As for the routine, I really like the push/pull routine which is a 4-day split and I like that the older I get. A young guy can do a 5-day split routine no problem.

Food and rest helps you recover faster. You can be on steroids and with a poor diet and sleep still take as long to recover as natural
