Do you really think one month makes the difference between a good product and a bad one?
maybe if your takling bread? or oysters.... but generally expiry dates on gear is largely just part of the great marketing machine, that keeps it price at a certain levels and causes dispensaries to order more stock then is truly required... Same deal with all sort of pharmicuticals... (in some cases It is true but that depends on the pharmicutical in question.) And lets not forget about storage conditions... if you keep stuff in the freezer for the last 3 years, the stuff should literally be uneffected by age.
If I were to guess.. I'd say that expiry dates have so much saftey built into them that they are probably 3 times ore better exaggerated... so if it has a 2 year expiry date the truth is probably longer then 6.
Just an opinion though.
