Hey Guys ,
Been following this board for quite some time and finally got the nerve to ask for help. I 54 yrs old and have been diagnosed with low test by my doctor and currently getting test-depo shots (200mg) every 8-10 days for the past year and half. My test levels get to around 650 at peak and drop to 275-300 on my 10th day. I'm fine when working out in the beginning of my shot cycle but as I reach the 7-8 day, I struggle with the weights that I could lift earlier in the cycle. I have tried a couple of test boosters, M1D, ISA-test and T-Bomb II to help supplement this deficiency and has helped a little. Stat's: 5'4", 150lbs, 29.5" waist, 12-12.5% BF. I am basically small boned and have had a real hard time gaining muscle size. After a 30 year layoff raising a family I returned to working out these past 5 years. I use a compound workout program 3 days a week which includes: chest, shoulders, tris; back, bicep, abs; legs and abs; I jog 2 times per week on offdays for 30 minutes. I eat clean at around 2600 calories per day in 6-7 meals, 3 of which are protein shakes. Any suggestions (workouts, supplements, diet) you can make to help me increase my size would be greatly appreciated. Take Care, Guiman |

I have heard somewhere in the past somebody that was in the same dilema like you. First off, how did you end up with low natural test levels? just age or there is an underlying problem. If you are going to be on HRT for life then just have the doc adjust the dosage or take it every 6-7 days. Doctors in these cases do not want a build up in your system but it will just drive you nuts with uneven levels. So, just let the doc know is your life not his.
How is your cholesterol btw? in order to grow you need to eat. if you do not gain then eat more food maybe 3000cal/day. The fact and the matter is that you can be 500mg/week of test but without food it will not do you much good.

Hey fellow Buffalo guy, haven't heard from you in a while. Do a search for posts by a guy called Ageless - I think in the "over 40" forum. He found the right doctor and got the "right stuff". I'd like to get my test levels checked and find a doc who would work with me if they're low. (I'm 47, and I bet they're pretty low) Your doctor probably has you on very conservative stuff. Let me know if you find a better doctor !
