Ianhockey91 has a spectacular aura about
Default B12

To combat some lethargy ive had recently ive decided to try b12. Rather than injecting every day with b12 @ 1000mcg a day, whould it be just as effective to do 3000mcg every 3 days so i dont have to stick myself all the time?

The half life for B12 is actually in the months if it isn't used by the body right away, so you should be fine. The long half life is the reason a lot of people don't know they are deficient for years. I would still only take 1000mcg at a time, but 3 times a week (Or even once a week) would be fine too.

True, but B12 also contains cobalt. This Vitamin helps maintain healty nerve cells and red blood cells. It is also needed to help make DNA, the genetic material in all the cells. Because B12 is bound to the protein in food Hydrochloric acis in the stomach releases B12 from proteins in food during digestion. And once released B12 combines with a subtance called gastric intrinsic factor. Then Finally absorbed by the intestinal tract. But defincey of B12 is more lickley to happen to vegetarians beacuse B12 can be found mainly in fish meat poultry eggs milk and dairy products. So 1000mcg at a time for 3 times a week sounds good.
