How much does the avergae pro bodybuilder spend on A.S.??? I mean sure a lot of don't want to enter that field, but would still love to look like them. What do yall think?

High thousands I would imagine. Pro's are almost always juicing year-round of multiple anabolic compounds, stacking them with simple items such as insulin to the extremely expensive IGF-1. Pro bodybuilders are like walking meatbags of pharmaceuticals.
Hell, I wouldn't be suprised if the cure for cancer could be found by taking a blood sample or a muscle biopsy from Ronnie Coleman. |

i read on the bb.com forums where tom prince was talking about gear myths of the pros.
he said that it doesnt make sense when people say that bodybuilders spend $50k+ on gear as the economics dont work out when you workout the prize money and sponsership if your not number 1.

Exactly! Why would you spend 50K+ even when the prize money isn't even that worth it. Unless you're a pro bodybuilder who has endorsements then maybe, but most Bodybuilders most likely use the same sample cycles you see in Anabolics 2006, which at most cost 6K a year.

It all depends...
Some Pro's use pharma grade and that does cost a quite a bit more at large doses... but I'm willing to bet that most pro's use thier own home brews or buy them from friends that do it for them. (why do I say most would use thier own brews? well if you were pinning 5 grams a week, that means you pinning alot of volume, and if you used pharma grade you'd have to pin alot of syringes every week to hit your doses... where as if you made your own high concentrations you'd be able to cut your injections in half or better.. this told to me by a pro powerlifter, that and it's cheaper lol). Running grams of test per week is not expensive at all, infact if you were to buy a candy bar and a pop a day, you'd be able to afford 2 grams a test a week... Things like anavar, and tren enan, and primo, are about 20 times more expensive. HGH and IGF on the other hand... is expensive, but not nearly as expensive as it was at one time. You can run quality 191aa hgh at 10iu a day for 365 days straight for less then 10000 USD.. (how much less I won't say. ) Much cheaper then it once was.And IGF is also available at very much lowered prices.. making it possible to run 100mcg, 20 days on and 20 days off for an entire year for less then 1500 USD (again I ain't sayin how much less.) Add to that the best all round mass builder is test.. you could easily run 5 grams a week easily and affordably. 5 grams a week for a year 100mcg igf 20 days on 20 days off for a year 10iu ed for a year All for much less then 12500 US a year... HGH being easily the largest cost factor.. (Well if you don't include food, which will be a whole hell of a lot.) I'm pretty sure you can become a pro with only test. Hgh and igf isn't needed to get the card. -- Edit then on the other hand, you have some up and comer's trying to compete here in canada that don't know **** about getting a good source. I know one guy imperticular (yes he's huge, squats 900 and has legs the size of my body) that is paying right through the nose for his gear.. I know who's sells it to the guy that ends up selling it to him.. so it's marked up by at least 2 different people, and each of those people are making at least 100% profit. In canada some people will pay 200 dollars for 10ml of test.. it's just crazy or he's just stupid.

Just curious.... I would imagine most pro-bodybuilders die fairly young. Any stats out there regarding this. I know i've seen many die by 60. I'd be interested to see some concrete numbers regarding death and reckless amounts of drugs.
