There is virtually no point in someone under 25 taking them is the thing. A 20 year old has optimum hormone levels. His test and growth hormones are perfect for building muscles. No one over 25 would even bother with steroids or pro-hormones if somehow we could use another method to turn on our own production.
The problem with those under 25 is lack of mental discipline. 30+ year olds generally win marathons and super long distance runs or any physical event for a reason. It has now gone beyond just physical and entered the realm where the more experienced human mind is in play. If the average 20 year old would quit arguing and would follow the diet plans without excuses and the workout plans that have been laid out here they would make huge gains. Every single one of them here almost has an excuse...school or some other crap. If a 30+ year old with a job, family, kids, the kids after-school events, etc, etc, etc can do it why can't they? I myself made no gains in the gym at 21 and huge gains at 37. The simple fact was diet and the workout was adjusted. I had no help at 21, and just watched my friend at 36, what is the excuse now for the people with internet help? At almost 45 my test levels are devastated, growth hormone, wtf is that? I can still make gains, they are very difficult though. I wish at 21 I knew half what I know now about bodybuilding and diet, and I wish now I knew twice as much! At Tae Kwon Do I watched a 6 year old break a board and a higher belted 32 year old failed! She did exactly what the instructor told her to do, he didn't.

The only way those would really help is if you had low test levels. Then, you could take them if you were 20 years old, but most 20 year olds test levels are high, not all but most.
