I'm not flipping out it just pisses me off on the fact that the media keeps coming up with all these ways to give steroids an even worse rep. It's never ending and I'm just sick of hearing about it.

What a strange article...comparing hamsters to people isn't really going to apply in this case. Too many variables IMO to be credible...

They should stop testing on hamsters and start giving me the free steriods.

They used "teenage" hamsters, exactly the same age group in humans we tell to stay away from steroids.

Haha, anybody can be depressed from anything not just steroids!
However, with proper cycling this is not even an issue. Some people are more aggresive than other regardless what they do. Pointless article.

It kinda bugs me when people try to make it out like steroids will cause people to get all aggressive and "'roid out." If someone is naturally an asshole then gear will just bring that side out more, but you can't tell me that giving test to someone who is a normal, calm, reasoned person is gonna turn them into a raging brawler.

Steroids are bad, i find it actually humourous that a lot of people come on here and defend it.

LOL

Smoking is not illegal, nor is drinking. Just balance the laws so these activities are just as illegal and all the bodybuilders will be fine with it. Got a case of cigarettes? You are a dealer, 5 year minimum term in prison.
Oh, the real reason steroids are illegal is because the companies neglected to buy the politicians, they should remedy that then.

Yep...everything should be legal. If you want to smoke 48 crack rocks a day that is your business and not mine...you should be able to do what you want it is your life and your body...

in an ideal world this would be great, let the people trash thier own life.

except that their actions effect others, the family of the drug addicts, the hospital staff who have to try and save them (wasting a hospital bed and money)... every action has a reaction

Drinking also results in many deaths in automobile accidents of non-drinkers and children! Broken families, dept, homelessness, and it's all okay.

True... Taekwondo Guy

But the jails would be much less crowded.... and if illegal substances were regulated their purity could be guaranteed and monitored and the government could generate a huge revenue from taxing them heavily...

I just hate it that alot of good people who choose to use steroids or other illegal substances are thrown in jail with murderers, rapists, and theives...

The use of illegal substances isn't "wrong" or "evil" is just isn't the healthiest or sometimes the smartest thing to do...You shouldn't go to prison for years just because you made the choice to put something into your body...

it would be a hard area to govern and monitor, the inital set up of legalising substances would cost billions.

once set up it would also be hard to manage, what the government sells for there will be a backyard dealer selling it for cheaper but lesser quality.

hospitals would recieve an influx of patients who have dabbled and got burned. Drug related deaths would go up (yet drug related crime might go down...

its a hard area to comprehend... so many knock on effects and bonuses/cons to consider

The government has no problem with wasting billions, they are experts at it.
I am not sure legalizing drugs of any kind is a good idea. Maybe
marijuana and steroids only, and only for those over 21.
Or just make cigarettes and liqour illegal and quit making excuses "steroids and marijuana are bad for you is why they are illegal".
Backyard dealers can be dealt with, there is a legal system in place for it that would have plenty more time if steroids and marijuana were legal (and lots more tax revenue).
I don't even use steroids or marijuana and see no reason for them to be illegal when compared to cigarettes or drinking irresponsibly.
