Default Why is three weeks so common

I keep hearing about three week cycles of SD. Has anyone gone four, five, or even six weeks straight? Or 2on/2off/2on while using 4AD? Just curious as to why I see the three week cycle so much. Tommorrow is my last day of a three week cycle of SD (10/20/20). I like it much better than M1T if anyone cares. Good gains in size but I wasn't expecting to retain as much water as I did. I thought the SD was going to be more forgiving in this area. I only gained 9lbs (I say only as oppossed to the gains with MIT of 15lbs) but I was eating really clean. I ran it solo. As soon as I figure out how, I am going to post some pictures.

it's very harsh on your liver,and most people like to keep their livers for a long time. I think the strong sides of SD make people only want to run it for short periods.

If you run SD for more than three weeks you are taking serious risks with your health. Your liver would be freakin' pickled after a 6 week cycle...don't do it.....

yes it is harsh...

That's about half the equation.. the other half and probably the bigger more demanding half is that most users expereince most of thier gains in that 3 week period of time.. at which point gains taper off.

Although, alot of what that's all about is more about glycose stores reaching maximum capacity over the innitial 2-3 weeks... and little to do with muscle gains.. cause real muscle gains should be fairly steady through out 3 or 4 even 6 weeks... But due to the ldl, hdl, liver issues, you really shouldn't go much beyond 3 weeks.

I ran mine for 4 weeks and it did mess up my liver readings(please see my last post). My dosage was even higher than yours 20/20/30/30. This prompted my doctor to give me a ***** slapping but you'll be glad to know that after my PCT, all liver readings are back to normal.

This stuff can be addicting since the gains are so visible. So I'd agree with most folks here and probably say that 3 weeks is best but maybe you can up your dosage to be like 20/20/30 or 20/30/30

Okay. It seems as though there is a consensus on three weeks. I will take your advice. Thanks for the info.
