Another reason to take your creatine after your workout...

With stims it's usually good advice to take it 30-60 minutes befoer your workout.. so if you do that math you should be able to figure out, how soon you need to take it... so it will be largely out of your system in time for creatine uptake.

I've used caffiene products before though.. eca actually.. and I never noticed it hut the performance of creatine.. but typically my workouts last 1.5-2 hours. (a little on the long side, but I got a training partner).

I've loaded before.. but i find it largely unnessecary. I've also used CEE, and found that to take effect within a week.. as opposed to Creatine mono which seems to take 1-2 weeks to kick in.

Last time I cycled it.. I took 5 grams cee pre-workout, and 5 grams mono post workout.

You'll have better up take of creatine with your post workout shake though, I'd almost be inclined to suggest that you'd get more bang for you buck taking 10 grams post workout then you would 5 and 5.... But I'm sure both will work.

I'm a firm believer in creatine, and easily notice it's effects.. I'm good for a few more reps and a few more pounds for sure.
Ok, I have the Mono. I'm not to up on CEE but I imagine mono alone will do the trick. 10 grams after workout sounds good to me. I also see you're a big proponent of bloat. Does it make a big difference? I really don't care if I bloat or not.

I take Xenadrine mid-morning and mid afternoon and then I work out in the evening so I am way outside of the 2 hours.

I think the main problem is people who take them very close together....

Remember with Mono you need a simple sugar like Dextrose to act as a vehicle for the Creatine. Try mixing it with Gatorade or Kool-Aid it works pretty well. And don't worry about bloating....it is bound to happen with Mono....

One of the reasons creatine works as well is it does is because of the bloat... so be prepared for it.. your muscles will swell with extra water, that water will fill your cell ("Cell volumizer") which when contracted will provide a stronger mechanical advantage then that of a cell that is not bloated?

make sense? Same principal as anadrol and dbol.. etc.

Why is it that CEE works so well without the bloat? I love CEE. It has worked much better for me (just a personal preference). I have seen mass and strength gains that I never saw on Mono...I can usually tell a huge difference when I am on a creatine cycle from when I am off of it....

Yeah Poobah, I think it makes sense, now that I understand the concept. Hopefully it provides what I'm looking for, the ability to push myself that little bit further. I'm not looking for super results or miracles, just the ability to stretch in further.

That is a good way to look at it. Creatine won't make you huge, but it will give you an extra 'kick' in the gym. I can usually squeeze out another two reps or so or do one more set or try one more exercise....
