Default Roehrigs01 Genera Supplements Epidrol Log

Luckily on bb.com, I, and two others, were selected by Genera Supplements to run a sponsored log for Epidrol. Epidrol as a new Havoc/Epistane clone out on the market.

Expected start: Sunday, July 22nd (I have the Epidrol & Tamox on hand, waiting my AI Life Support to come in this week)

Goal: Gain LBM / Cut Fat.... See what this stuff can do for me...really want to kick my strength up a bit and get away from this "runner's body"

Here is the plan...
4 weeks of Epidrol (30mg/ 3 caps daily)

Week 1-4 : 3 EPI ED / 4 ED AI Life Support / 2 ED ZMA
Week 5-8: 40/30/20/10mg Tamoxifen Citrate

Diet: about 3000 cal...40p/40c/20f

Exercise:
Cardio: mon, weds, friday morning...run 30mins
WO: tues, thurs, sun... lift heavy rotating upper body & legs/back/stomach following my lift plan/spreadsheet.

so if you gain 8 lbs of LBM and it destroys your liver, you don't care?? Most orals shoot the crap out of your cholesterol, and if you think it comes right back down in a couple of months, you are sadly mistaken. Most of the time, it takes 6-8 months for those values to become back into the 'good' range.

How can a simple blood test not be wanted or needed for any test of any PH/similar OTC pill.

Might be the best $40 you spend on your life. But hey, you are the guinea pig Good luck with it man, hope it mets all your expectations.

So what bloodwork should I request... I will call and see what the price is and if I can get it without doc's request...

Roe, if you've got insurance, you just call the doc up and tell 'em you want a complete blood workup done. When they are in there with you, tell 'em what specifics you are looking for - test levels (?) and at least cholesterol. Hrpiii can give you details on what to specifically ask for, as I don't know. I bet my cholesterol is trashed after the Havoc cycle, even though I took AI Cycle Support and EFAs.

actually just got a lipid/liver test in May... and suppose to go at the end of August... so putting it on insurance is pushing it for this one... rather just pay for it... It was 204 at that time.. and have been taking no-flush Niacin and Omega oils since then to get the total down, HDL up and LDL down...

got a reply from a local lab... due to state regulations, can't get a lab test w/o a dr's approval here in Hawaii... so need dr's approval but can pay cash for it.

I will just give it a go and if sides get to a point that is beyond the norm, I will stop and go on the PCT.

you will never know or feel any sides of the liver, if you do, it's probably too late to do anything. I would be your cholesterol, if at 204 now, would probably go into the 260-270 range.

Your HDL will probably go into the Teens.

I tend to stay on the high side of cholesterol myself (last check was 199, but down from over 300 a couple of years ago). I would try to get the doc to order one up for me - you can be up front with him, some are cool like that. There's a local one here who is way into gear, so you might be able to find someone who is a bit more "friendly" than the rest.

well.. after research.. this is what I found out... lab tests have to be ordered by a doc of some sort...

From a local lab test facility, "With regards to your inquiry on whether an individual can order diagnostic tests without a healthcare provider's order, unfortunately, due to State and Federal regulations, individuals cannot order diagnostic medical laboratory tests without an order from a healthcare provider. The tests that you have indicated would need to be ordered by a physician. You would not have to have the claim submitted to your insurance carrier and have the option of paying for the tests yourself."

there are many places online that will approve and do the testing for you...all you have to do is order the tests you want and then go to a designated lab center for the test. Simple enough.. but after checking out like 5 different sites, none of them have places here in Hawaii... go figure.. plenty on the mainland though...

Option 2... go to a doc to get test ordered... well, ain't going to my usual doc because it will get marked as unusual as I was just there for tests in May... and going again in Aug... and if I want to find a different doc I have to pay full office visit and then full lab test costs, unless I change doc in my insurance and then change back...which is a flag...

So I am looking to see if I can find a "friendly" doc on the mainland that will order the tests and I can just go and pay...see if I can find one and get it done before this sun.

This will be a whole lot easier when I move to the mainland, as they have online testing centers all over the place... Can get lipid, tot & free test and liver/kidney for about $150-200.

Immediate change to supplement list, due to ZMA possibly giving me weird/bad dreams and noticing painful backpumps on deads lifts so upping Taurine dosage:

Support Supplements (ED):
-4cap ED Anabolic Innovation Life Support (cycle support)
-1cap ED Optimum Nutrition Melatonin at night (sleep support)
-4cap (2g) ED Vitamin World Taurine (backpumps)
-3cap (1.5g) ED GNC No-Flush Niacin (lipid control)

-2cap ED NOW Adam Multi-V

Also have some Super Cissus coming for dryness in joints & tendonistis issues.

Dude, you're already getting back pumps? Just wait another week. They get killer. I'd get them just from standing up too long. Oh, glad to see you got the AI caps, that stuff tastes like throw up.

Oh yah... I usually get them about 1 hr after I take the Epidrol. And got them yesterday after I did deads and str lg deads... felt like someone hit me with 2x4 in the lower back when trying to straighten out after my final rep on sets...

So going to up my Taurine to 2g daily... .5 morning, .5 night and 1g before wo or at 2pm with my usual dosage.

Yeah, they get pretty harsh - almost debilitating. Let me know if the taurine helps.

Default End of Week 1

Today is Sunday, July 29th and end of week 1 of Epidrol cycle... Started it July 22nd.

Weight on wake-up: 153.2lbs (start: 152.4lbs - currently: +0.8 lbs / +.5%)
BF: 9.8% (start: 10% - currently: -0.3 lbs / -.2%) by bf caliper to the same suprailliac spot w/ average of 3.

Diet: about 2800-3200 cals ED... 40p/40c/20f w/ some sporadic protein shakes thrown in when I think it is needed. Alcohol: 3 beers Monday at a event, 1 last night while bbq'n some steak... yes..yes.. I know it is bad for the liver due to the added stress of the methyl ph.

Dosage: 3 (30mg) ED of Genera Supplements Epidrol (taken at 7am, 1hr b4 WO or 2pm, 9pm) + other support supplements (see current list above).

Sides experienced this week: slight increase of body acne & face oilier than normal. No others.

General feelings / mental state: Feel fine / normal. Little lethargic for about 30 mins in the morning due to the Melatonin. Sleep like a log though. Muscles feel slightly fuller about 1hr and some noticeable tightness in lower back after taking Epidrol dosage. Maybe it is just mental...

Workout days this past week: Cardio – Monday & Friday morning, walk/ jog for 30 mins, Lifting – Last Sun upper day, Tues lower day & Thurs upper day according to Workout (see list above).

Current Injuries: still have slight tendonistis of r. elbow and r. achilles tendon. Elbow is at about 90% strength and heel is at about 70%. Just started taking Super Cissus late last week, lets see what that can do for me… Also, have had a pain in the r. neck muscle… from sleeping on it ‘funny’… not too funny… I think my wife karate chopped me in the neck when I was sleeping... slowly going away. Been using a salonpas (icy/hot) patch on it nightly.

Current Stats (1RM):
bench 175 (start: 163lbs) – Change of 7%
squat 175 (start: 163lbs) – Change of 7%
dead 247 (start: 223lbs) – Change of 11%
Sum BSD 597 (start: 549) – Ave Change of 9%

Changes for next week: Cut the booze.

Notes: So far, out of 20 exercises in the lifting workout, the average weight added since start is 8%. Next week (end of week 2), I will post my full workout stats including weights. I am going to do this at end of week 2, end of Epidrol cycle & end of week 2 of PCT.
