Default Mass/Strength Cycle

Can someone recommend a good tried and true cycle for strength and mass? I am 43 years old, drug free and have been lifting for 20+ years and competing in powerlifting for 15. Best lifts are:

Squat: 705
Bench: 430
Deadlift: 645

These lifts were posted in a drug free/tested state powerlifting meet. I have hit a plateau recently and have tried every kind of training, nutritional angle i can find. I guess my progress has slowed due to age. I think I'm ready for a boost.

thanks

Test and Dbol its all u need. As for dosages?
List your weight and lets figure it out. Maybe 750mg test/week and prob 40mg of dbol/day for the first 4weeks will do it since you never did it before.

Too much test, and high on the dbol also. He's never done steroids, no need to start out with extreme amounts. If you are truly looking to steroids for a boost in your workouts, this is about the simplest cycle to start with. But in order to keep those gains, you have to understand PCT so well, you can explain it to the novice in your sleep. Poor PCT and you will lose all your hard earned work in a very short time.

Default mass/strength cycle

First of all, I wanna say this is an awesome web site and it's a breath of fresh air to be talking to experienced / hardcore lifters and I really appreciate your time.

As soon as I posted my original thread, I realized i didn't list my height and weight. I am 5'8" and presently 218. And yes, I am referring to a steroid boost. My lifting goals are a 750 squat, 505 bench and 750 deadlift in a meet, but at 43 I realize time is short.

I really appreciate you guys taking time out for advice.

LONG LIVE AMERICA!!!

I'm giving advice to someone when I squat less than 2/3 their squat weight.

Most people advise a first cycle of 500mg/wk test E, sometimes with a dbol kickstart.

If you have made it this far when you have declining hormone levels as you age, you should be able to feel 500mg very well. I'm only doing 400mg and it's a huge difference.

I thought you were havier than that but to tell you the truth it is your choice between 500mg test/week and you can throw in 25-35mg dbol or 750mg/week and 40mg dbol. Powerlifter need more test in general.

I know, I thought he was a lot bigger and from my experience if you want to push a lot of weight you need more test. I do not think he is interesting in too much muscle building. He can definitely start with a simple 500mg test but it might not be enough IMO
You are correct though, PCT needs to be well understood

I will disagree on this. Once your receptors are "full", more test will not do nothing but promote gyno chances. More test is only needed for the guys that are on cycle A LOT. Once you have 5-8 cycles under your belt, yes, you may need to bump up to 500-700mg of Test to get the same big gains. But gains are gains. At our age, slow and steady is much more productive with less stress on the body.

That's cool, don't mind a difference of opinions! I'm not those guys who believe that more is better but with his experience a little higher dosage will give him that instant pop, however if he wants to wait a few years to start with a lower dosage and build up that's fine. I believed he said that he does not have much time to train in future years as he is 43 now.
As for age, I'm 33 and believe me I'm very careful with my joints so they last me for a while. I do some powerlifting but I split it with bodybuilding for looks too and to stay off those heavy weights day in and day out.

Slow and steady is the way to go for sure!
