yep, I had the self-same side on camph, near on killer headaches and bad lethargy. this is a side that can happen, got it from the horses mouth (USP) on another forum, where I was trialing the stuff, had to stop usage and it all cleared up in a day or two.

ALright.. Some of you may be aware of my on going problems with bicep day on account of my flaring metacarple syndrome (worsened greatly by hgh, and igf up the wazoo... ).. For the last month, my lifts on biceps day have been dropping for the shear fact that the pain does not allow me to lift what I once did with my left hand. It's actually depressing. Oh yea.. I have an appointment with a specialist Jan 16th for this mess.

I walked into the gym today, and picked up a coupld of 27.5 DBs for a easy warm up... by rep 7 I was in uber pain... put the weights back down.. and let the nearest dude... how happened to be "Paul"(incidently he passed his exam yesterday, he's a god damn Nuero syrgeon.. nice.) How god damn Pissed I was.

I had to implement a new plan... So I changed it all up. Found out I could do cable curls with a straight bar, with my hands partly off each end. (could not do them close grip at all).. I've never done cable curls for almost a year now is seems.. but probably closer to 7 or 8 months... It blows me away how much easier they are... I did 3 sets @ 150 pounds for 10 reps.. and decided to do another set @ 170 and manage 7 reps...

BUT THE GREAT NEWS IS, PAIN WAS NOT AN ISSUE.. It was a very nice feeling to be able to push till I just couldn't anymore, without pain being the decider.

Next I decided to try cable preacher curls... oddly enough I could not do wide grip at all, just to painful... This time I had to do close grip on one of them wavey bars. And again, no pain this way... Did 2 sets at 120 for 10 reps... and a last one at 150 for 6 reps...

I guess the real problem is any thing free weights in regards to curls.. allows to much motion in my wrist... and my condition just can't take that shiet. But holding the bar locks my wrist at least left to right and removes left right motions back to my elbow... so I think I found the answer to being able to lift heavy.. although cable exercises look to be a big part of that for now..

At this point, I through in DB Arnolds 4 sets at 55 for 10 reps... (Wasn't up for 60's today...) but I should of did them I got all 4 sets for all 10 reps.. I punked out? lol

And to finish it off, I needed another non-painfull bicep exercise... so I decided to try, Chin-ups... and it was a go... I needed 90 pounds of counter weight to make up for my 290 poundish body I currently have.. It was hard though, I squeezed out 8/7/7 reps a peice.

30 minutes cardio...

Call it a day.

Sunday.. Chest day.

BB sucks DB are excelling.

I'll just keep it to highlights...

BB Flat Bench 10/12 x 205
DB Flat Bench 95's x 8/5, 90's x 8/8

4 sets of dips.. assisted

At this point I was suppose to do Incline DB press, but my left shoulder was a bit buggered... partly cause I had to pushup friday - saturday, which included 4 sets of arnolds which in turn left me still sore this morning... and again partly, cause this was my first day with 95 pounders on Flat DB, and lifting off I felt something go screwy. SO I decided to skip.

Cable flyes... skipped them too.. Don't know what to do... I tried db flyes, cable flyes, and the pec deck.. and each exercises is the exact type of motion my metacarple thing just hates. Somedays I can do them, but never with very much weight anymore.. it sucks.

Ab work.. they really hurt alot today...

---

Week 5 of PCT starts tomorrow.

Good news is.. all my major lifts continue to rise.. So that's sweet.

My sex drive however is noticbly lower this last week, but seemingly on the rise again.

My mood is so so, I keep hitting the gym, but cardio is lacking, and diet still sucks, and I'm unmotivated to correct it at the moment.

I'm beginning to get the achy breaky feelings again... Definately lost that machine feeling.. recover time is noticbly longer... although My strength is still at what it was, I seem to drop off a bit quicker over sets, and by the end of the day.

Acne is really starting to breakout on my face, and on my chest.. and on my upper back.. but not bad yet.

I hate the acne damn it.

I missed back day... (terrible) but a rare occurance, so i ain't going to beat myself up about it.

Tonight is Triceps... Oh the Triceps...

and cardio..

---

I'm so damn tired lately it's crazy... must be rxt related I think. then again I've decided to drop all stimulants.. (I don't like how they burn me out)... lol but now I feel burned out all the time, and I haven't used eca for over 2 weeks now.

I'm getting better sleep too.. and I wake up easy enough.. sleep has been fairly good quality... I feel awake first thing in the morning.. but I get to work.. and I start to just drift... comes and goes like that all day, until I get to the gym of course.

I'm definately in the middle of some serious pct blues... week 5 is almost over... and yea this is where it got me last time.. weeks 5-6 are the worst post cycle..

I'm so drained.. and tired.. and sore... I've gone and said fuk it. I took the whole F'n week off. and I just took a week off not much more then a month ago.

So now, on top of my diet sucking arse of late.. my training now sucks arse too... To top it all off I have a resemblence to Orsen wells, and some other fat dude.

The depression itself, isn't that bad.. I'm not like totally miserable and hard to get along with.. it's just I don't care, about anything at all.. don't give one flippin shiet. I'd rather just sleep all the time...

I plan to start back up again on monday... as true as always.. I also plan to get my deit serious again, and change up some food choices that are making me gag.. (namely tuna... god I can't eat another can of tuna)

anyway.. I'm really stinking up the place lately.

peace.

Don't give up man! We all know you have it in ya! Get some rest this weekend. Chill and try to enjoy yourself. The way you have been training your body will thank you for it. Start back Monday fresh and determined.

Perhaps it may be time to have a lay-off, you have been flat out for a while now and mentally and physically you might neeed to re-charge. This seems to be the vibe I'm getting from reading your recent posts. Maybe just maintenance lift 1-2 times a week, and hit it agian when you are firing on all cyclindrs.

After a quiet and peaceful weekend.. (Kids were at grandparents)... I feel much more positive about things.. Had lots of rest, and I can feel my thoughts are coming back to where they need to be to make another commitment to diet.

So today I start again fresh... training isn't all that difficult to get into.. although the cardio can be a bit of torture. lol

Eating right is always difficult for me, at least until I break through the addiction and cravings aspect of eating.... But I'll get threw it as long as I'm positive, and right now I am.

The biggest trick for me, will be learning to not fall to pieces diet wise when I'm feeling less them positive.... I'm not sure why I do that, or what possesses me to eat like shiet, even though I know it will set me back.. but I do anyways.

Best I can do now, is do everything I can to stay positive, and alot of that has to do with proper sleep... and peace of mind. Not many of you realize how busy I really am... It was totally draining me. Wake up at 5:15am, work till 4:30, drive home, workout, get to my girlfriends 8 - 8:30pm... drive her to work, drive back.. put the kids to bed.. do the things I need to do.. try and spend some time with my girlfriend when she gets back at 11-1:00am... And that's not even mentioning squeezing in a part time job that I have to do from time to time, and that frequently takes up every spare moment of my weekends. Basically I had no time for anything fun.. or no time to relax... and definately not enough time for rest. it was really hard on me.

Good news / Bad news is currently Sweetthing has no contracts... so I don't have to race and drive her to work, and worry about putting kids to bed... which will give me some lee-way with my other job.... and allow me to spend some time with her at a more reasonable time... which will allow me to get some proper sleep. I just can't stress how much brighter day to day life is when you well rested... the brain just copes with stress so much better.

Day 1 of a new start...

---

Acne is sucking... lol

Back tonight.

I'm back.. Yesterday was a breeze (I was going to say piece of cake(there was a cake on the counter at home... I didn't touch it.. ))

I followed diet, no problem at all... I felt confident and in good spirits the entire day... I even decided to start my new training program, to get a feel for it at least leading into the christmas holiday season.

Monday, back & Biceps (non calf week)

*I didn't use any grip assistance today, but I will more often then not, My forearms were absolutely smoked, and so pumped the bicep portion of my exercises were quite a bit more difficult then normal. (and painful)

Front Pull ups 3x10 (130 pounds counter weight to counter my fat ass.. )

3:2 but fell off to a 2:2, shook like a leaf, but squeezed them all off... barely.

Seated Rows (close grip) 12 x 140, 12 x 150, 12 x 140

3:2 motion, very controlled, I do this exercise well.

Lat Pulldown (wide grip) 12 x 130, 12 x 130, 11 x 130

2:2 This exercises pisses me off.. I keep my back totally straight up and down now, and work at bringing my shoulders back.. It isolates my back quite well but my weight looks sort of pissy... my brother who is alot smaller then me, did 120 pounds for 3 sets of 12... makes me feel week, His form isn't as good, he brings is elbows forward a bit.. but still. I think he's just made to do them better then I am?

By the time I'm done each set of lat pulldowns, my forearms are absolutely screaming... another factor that makes this exercise hard for me. and it also happens to be my strongest arm that screams the most.. more muscle mass? more pump? Less ability to hold on in these sistuations? Seems to be that way from experience anyway?

Bicep portion

My ongoing wrist/nerve problems have forced me to sub in cable exercises...

Target rep 6
Standing Cable Curls 150 x 6, 150 x 5, 150 x 5

Dissappointed, 2 weeks ago I was able to do 3 sets of 150 x 10 and finish with 175 x 8.. I tried to do more to get in the 6 rep range, but my forearms will still hard like rocks, and it made it difficult to grip the bar right, and when I dropped back to 150 I had to work through alot of pain in my left forearm towards the elbow.. it felt like it was fighting the entire motion.. Good thing is It wasn't the pain the stopped me, I had a good pump from my back exercises, and I squeezed out each rep until I couldn't squeeze no more. (last time I performed much better, it was my first exercise of the day, and obviously my back exercises took it out of me a bit, which is okay. )

Target rep 6
Seated Preacher cable curls 120 x 6, 120 x 6, 120 x 6 (some assistance on lat rep)

again lighter then where I was 2 weeks ago, but this is a totally different workout, so It don't mean much. I squeezed hard, and the reps were pretty darn slow.

At this point, if I wasn't doing a 6 rep scheme, I'd throw in some hammers... and every alternate week I do Calve raises or presses (can't recall right now.. lol). But for today, that's it.

Peace.

Kewl thing about this 6 day split is... If I have to miss a day for one reason or another, I will still be hitting my entire body at least 1 and most of it twice.

Thursday, it's Sarah's christmas play... can't miss that now can I?

Piss me off though, it's chest and tricep day... my favorite type of day.

Undecided.. play or workout?

Poobah, I like that workout chart, all fancy and stuff. Mine is just on notebook paper with the exercise, sets, reps, and weight. No fancy graphs but I like that. I may have to try my luck at excel and make me some.

It's alot easier then it looks actually...

Once you have one line done, all you gota do is copy and paste, and change the wording more or less.
