Also, you can never really get too much protein but you can certainly NOT get enough. If you have leftover protein your body will just use it for energy. You cant use leftover carbs or fat for musclebuilding or preventing muscle loss.
And you dont reallly need to count or obsess to get that ratio. If you follow the protein/carbs and protien/fat rules for meals then it just kinda works out that way on its own.

Ok but what are the rules of protein/carbs and protien/fat?
I get that if you eat carbs or fat you need to take Protein with it but is there anything else to get in check?
