Default Muscle Mags: Read Through The B/S

I came across this information yesterday and thought it might serve useful, particularly to our newbie traffic, and even some of you who may have not been aware of the way this industry tends to operate at times.

Experimental and Applied Sciences (EAS) owns:
  • Muscle Media
MuscleTech (Robert Kennedy) owns:
  • Musclemag International
  • Oxygen
Twin Laboratories
(TwinLab) owns:
  • Muscular Development
Weider owns:
  • Fit Pregnancy
  • Flex
  • Muscle and Fitness
  • Muscle and Fitness Hers
  • Natural Health
  • Shape

I like to read the magazines for entertainment purposes mostly. I rarely take anything the mags say seriously or even consider it to be a reliable source of unbiased, accurate information in the least bit other than a good recipe. The sad thing is so many people out there really believe things BECAUSE they come from magazines. They buy all the latest supps and commit to routines that are basically overtraining them in the long run without having the slightest clues of what's really going on.

I have a stack of Men's Fitness in my bedroom that haven't been touched in years. I used to be subscribed @ $10 a year. Not a bad deal but once I started realizing the mags were 80% marketing and advertisements, I decided not to renew my subscription when the time came around. I felt like I was basically paying for the marketing. Now if that ain't horseshiet, IDK what is.
