Hi my name is Garrett.
I'm a police officer in the Seattle/Tacoma area and am new to this site. I am 30 years old, about 210 lbs and out of shape. I have been a cop for over six years and military before that. I am married (the reason I am out of shape, lol, Italian wife) with 2 boys 4 and 8. Over the years I have done the up and down thing on working out, going in and out of shape (mostly out lately) I have never been in to weight lifting until recently and got a nice home gym for Christmas.
My goal is to lose the fat, gain the muscle. I AM going to be about the same weight without the fat. I want to build up my cardiovascular (occasionally I have to chase bad guys on the job) and just feel better in general. I'm hoping to pick the brains of all you more experienced lifters so I can get it right the first time. Thanks.
