I have much respect for you but your one paragraph away from saying
'fck yeah, come get some...woooooooo'
congratulations, your 'fck you' attitude is a major gripe i have with guys in vehicles that size who have no issue with taking out a family car when they plough into them.
'errrghhh, but then they should get a big car...wooooooooo'
your above their bumper line and pretty much your bumper is at their head height when you come smashing into the side of them. It practically over rides any side impact protection regular cars have and plus they will be kissing your bumper before it can take effect.
'errrrghhhh, but that aint my fault....wooooooooooo'
Regular cars are designed with a sloping bonnet (hood) so that any pedestrian who is struck head on by it will be pushed onto the hood and the head takes minimal damage.
With large 4x4's you just push them down and run them over
'Woooohaaaaaa, i just trundled over the b*tch.... gotta get the kids to clean the under carriage tonight! woooooooo'
The thought process boggles me
