AS LONG AS YOUR PROTEIN INTAKE IS ENOUGH

arnold schwarznegger also says in his modern encyclopedia of bodybuilding that you should be aiming for "45-60mins of steady cardio" at least 5 times per week.

cardio is villanised way too much in my opinion. HIIT is also good agreed, but a recent study showed steady state moderate cardio overall is around 5 times more effective than HIIT for fat burning.

Burn The Fat Blog: "Steady State Cardio 5 X More Effective Than HIIT????"

he said he wants to get cut, by the sounds of it he wants to be ripped, as in get his body fat into the single digits, if thats the case, then that amount of cardio is NOT exessive. just make sure your calories are in check and you still lifting and you will maintain the muscle.

Thats your problem right there dude! You are quoting guys who take steroids. Do you take roids? I don't, so they're advice means nothing to me, it doesnt apply in my world.

When I gave my advice, I spoke from my own personal experience,
I didnt quote someone. I instead spoke off what I have done in real life experiences and applications and that is far more valuable than anything read off the net or in a magazine. You know how many times I have heard "Well Arnold in fact recommends", blah blah blah..

I have been 160 lbs and ripped and skinny and I have also been muscular and bulky at 240 lbs, so I have been all up and down the dial. I know how to bulk up and I know how to cut down and from my PERSONAL EXPERIENCES, I have always burned the most muscle when I did long bouts of cardio.

If you want to lose muscle, do long bouts of cardio and/or skip meals, definitely will get the job done
