Ya, I think you have it backwards bud, concentration curls should always come last imo.
Hammers are an overall size builder whereas concentration curls are meant to isolate the peak of the bicep... better to use as a final burnout curl.
Also, I would suggest starting off with a standard bb curl or maybe a preacher bb curl... those combined with hammers and concentration curls have worked well for me.
