Head Pain
I am 43. I have been lifting for about 5 years. I have had a few pulls here and there in my chest, legs etc.. but nothing bad.
I have been rotating for the last year from lighter more reps to heavey fewer reps. About 3 months ago or so, I was in my heavier routine and noticed on the right upper side of my head a funny very slight "pulling" type of feeling. I may not be describing the feeling correctly but it wasn't really painful at all just a funny feeling.
I noticed it more and more when I would push heavier weight. If I would go lighter I rarely would feel it. Then when I did heavier I noticed if I made sure to breathe real deep and the exhale properly I wouldn't really feel it.
For the past 3 weeks however I have been feeling this and some slight pain. I am not sure what it is.
I have had so many sinus and pressure related issues over the past 3 years that I thought it was that. I always have sinus issues that seem to settle on the right side of my head. About 3 years ago I had pressure, numbness on the right side of my head for about a month so I had a CT scan and MRI even went to a neurologist and everything was normal. They said some sinus issues most likely stress as I do get stressed and have anxiety issues.
My blood pressure however is around 110/70 so it is good.
Anyone ever have anything like this? I attribute it to the lifting because of the way it started.
Thanks,
Scott
