As for the Clintons, why doesn't anyone bring up how they asked the public to foot the bill for all their lawyers fees they accrued defending Bill's affairs. I mean Christ Almighty. You have a huge pair of brass ones to get caught in a lie, having an affair, face all sorts of legal proceedings brought on by your own actions and then you ask the public to foot the bill for your defense team? My God that is ballsy.
I still choke on the whole "It depends what your definition of 'Is' is" comment. Only a lawyer would have to have someone define a word that is already defined.
Another thing, when Newt Gingrich was Speaker of the house, he was to publish a book. The Clintons and other Democrats said that as long as Newt was a member of Congress he should not profit from the sale of any book as it was a conflict of interes. Newt took $1 from the deal and the proceeds went to charity. Hillary Clinton's book was published a few years after she was in office and she made millions of up front money from the publisher. Newt was guaranteed up front money as well but was pressured into giving it up.
Hell of double standard to me. Again, it is like politicians are allowed to do things that would land you and I ass deep in court proceedings and destroy or lives.
