Last year was a great experience. I was really struggling around 6 weeks out and almost quit at 4 weeks out. I was extremely sick and then also went off the diet a few times, my physique was way behind schedule. I talked with my trainer and we had two choices: quit or get hardcore. I went for the second ;-P it was intense LOL
I was also mentally drained from the shenanigans of the old trainer and there was much rivalry with their current client (who would be in my class) and me. I also had to face the "ex's" for the first time since all the badness. I admit that this was a lot of added stress even though i shouldn't have let it get to me. After that day i felt a huge weight taken off my shoulders and it felt great to overcome that obstacle and come out stronger and hungrier (in a POSITIVE way).
I am happy at the changes we made this year with my physique (i only did one show) but leanness (as usual) is a factor, and my greatest battle. I placed a solid 4th and I am super happy with the placing. I feel that getting leaner will really improve my game and I am highly motivated this year to achieve wicked-leanness!!

So this year, obviously the quest for ultimate leanness is #1... also we strive continue shaping & sculpting. I'm forever working on my hams & bum. Then of course the usual stuff of improving what's there all over.
My routine is about middle of the pack. I have high energy and "entertainment" value but i really want to add a few new tricks to my repertoire. There were some girls there that were off the hook!! I decided to take some breakdancing lessons (thinking that learning any gymnastics was a hopeless cause LOL) but now i'm starting to rethink this. I'm blown away at how difficult breakdancing is LMAO. It's like gymnastics to the next level. Much respect to the b-boys & bgirls out there!
