Has your wife every weight trained before?
Good advice hrpiii posted. Same exercises, considerable amount of weight to make it work for her and coach her. Push her and she will really get into it especially having you there to keep her motivated. I see alot of couples in my gym and their wives or gf's just follow their routine. Having a wo partner is a great benefit.
Make sure she doesn't neglect training any body parts. Ab work also needs to be in there and stretching.
