Yeah - that is what I do when I grill it. I use a catch pan to catch the juices so it doesn't flame up too....just in case. I've also done it where I only turn on the far right of the 3 burners, put the can/chicken to the far left, have a pan of soaked mesquite chips over the flame to create smoke/steam.
