First off, how tall are you? 155 is not fat if your say 5'8" or taller. Second, you don't need weights to start working out. Pullups, pushups, chair dips, sit ups, crunches, etc. all can help maintain muscle. Third going on a crash diet of severe calorie restriction can cause your metabolism to go into "starvation mode" and actually increase your fat reserves. Eat 5 - 6 smaller well balance meals a day to keep your metabolism chugging along.
