Just got back and am really tired so here's my write-up, if some of it doesn't make sense I've only had 3 hours sleep in the last 36 hours so I do appologise

Was a really good contest!!!
From a personal point of view it went okay it was much like last year for me I started really well then faded as the comp went on.
I got to go head-to-head with Mariusz on the Yoke which was great for me I really thought I would beat him and I think if it had been the 100ft it was supposed to I would have caught him. He got out of the blocks very quickly!!! I heard the go signal and he seemed like he was already 2m in front of me! I was catching him very quickly toward the end but just couldn't make up the head start he had on me.

2nd Viking press, my pressing has been really good recently so was looking forward to this. It was 145kg for reps the first 7 felt really easy then went for the 8th and struggled with it attempted the 9th rep and couldn't get it. I was reasonably happy with this as my pressing has always been a weak point and took a pretty good joint 4th.
3rd was stones same set-up as last year I was hoping to complete them but didn't even get close on the 6th. Was really pissed off with this but no-body got all 6 this year.
4th deadlift, wasn't sure about this as side-handles never really seems to go well for me I got 13 reps which was pretty poor 21 reps won it I took 8th on this event which was my worst of the day.
5th Hercules hold, it went okay took 4th on this probably should have held on a little longer but wanted to save my grip for the frame carry as I thought I could make up some points.
6th tyre flip then frame carry well by this point I was struggling quite a bit but was still in with a chance of the podium. flips the tyre 5 times very slowly!!! then got to the frame picked it up made about 10 of the 15m the it took me another 3 pick-ups to complete it. This was probably my most dissappointing event as I though the frame would be a banker for me. Walked off after this event and couldn't breathe I started to panic a fair bit as I've never felt like that before the doctor rushed over I actually seriously thought for a few seconds I was gonna die!!! I was adviced to go to hospital but once I got my breathing under control I felt okay, I have never felt like that before and was extremly worried maybe gaining 25kgs in 2 months wasn't the best thing to do in a fast paced show like Mohegan sun always is.
All in all it was a pretty good contest and although I'm gutted to have just missed out on the top 4 my performance was failry solid all the way through.
Congrats to the guys that finished above me! Kevin was awsome the whole way through, Mark after a not very good start really came good towards the end and I thought Jason was great all the way through I was pleased for him as he seems like a really decent guy!!!
