does similis declare an understood "i am"? I would think thats what you want... but just the phrase "similar to a machine" sounds fine too - just that latin doesnt like incomplete sentences. I guess what you have works, but yes, in latin, you need the singular genitive ending, which would be ae. I SERIOUSLY doubt that anyone would notice that.... I know i probably wouldnt even notice it without you mentioning it... and its not exactly incorrect in that its already an incomplete sentence anyway. Either way - its incredibly easy to fix
