Drugs are drugs in the end.
If anything, party drugs are more acceptable than steroids. When was the last time there was such a long, drawn out debacle over the last time a major league baseball player did X? I've seen more anti steroid commercials than I have anti weed commercials, plus I hear the tour de france winner actually smoked weed, not steroids before the race. Don't worry, he didn't inhale.
In the end, you and your friends are doing drugs, even if the difference is steroids and X. Let your lifestyles lead you away from your friends, but it IS hypocritical to ditch them simply because they are doing drugs.
Hell my friends still do weed and drink a LOT. I still go out with them, except I am the one chilling with water or getting something to eat instead of getting drunk. They think I am on liver meds and can't drink, but I still get to make fun of them the day after for the stupid **** they did, and hit on the sober chick that night who feels the same way about making fun of drunk people as me (And there is ALWAYS one).
